Useful
I wish I got the bigger one. If using the highest capacity, rice comes up to the very brim. It sometimes burns the bottom of the rice, which is probably my fault. My kitchen isn’t level and so measuring is sometimes off. It is very convenient. I can cook rice just fine on the stovetop, but this is easier with the self timing. It works well for what it is. Cooking mostly for two, I’m not going to buy the bigger model. It seems well made. The pot is truly nonstick, but it doesn’t look like a material that will flake or chip.

Great functional little rice cooker/ Update: Also great for hard boiled eggs
I was so tired of inconsistent results when cooking rice on the stove top. You’d think after 40 years of marriage I would have nailed it but nope, still struggling. This little cooker gets the job done every time! I have already used it half a dozen times with great results and I really like that it flips itself to warm after the rice is done so I can work on the rest of the meal. My one complaint is the numbers on the cookpot, they are black and really hard to see! I have to turn the flashlight on my phone to add the correct amount of liquid. Other than that, for the price, I am super happy I bought this. Highly recommend!I came back a month later to add that this rice cooker also works great to steam hard boiled eggs. I have backyard chickens and the fresh eggs can be really hard to peel but this machine is making it easy, even with really fresh eggs. I use 6 Tablespoons of water and add the eggs,(4) then you put on the cook mode for 17or 18 minutes for a fully cooked yolk (but not overcooked). Put the eggs right into an ice bath wait a couple of minutes and the shell should slide right off. Could also adjust timimg for soft boiled etc. if thats what you’d like. Mine take the entire 17 minutes in order for the yolk to fully cook. Hope this is helpful to someone!

Makes perfect rice!
I had an insta pot but hated it. I bought this rice cooker as my grandma has the same one and has been using it for 10+ years. Great quality and it works well. I’ve made rice a few times and it comes out perfect. I love how simple and user friendly this rice cooker is. It is hard to mess it up. Sometimes old-school is the way to go! Bye instapot

Works Well!!
I have used it a couple times now and it works really well the amount of rice is always too much for me and my wife so we cut it in half some nights but it cooks very well and it’s nice and compact allowing for easy cleanup, it’s not loud but loud enough too tell it’s done

Great small rice cooker
I’ve never used a rice cooker but make a lot of rice so I thought I’d try a cheap one. It came quickly and was nicely packaged. It’s really as simple as adding 1,2 or 3 scoops of rice with the provided cup and filling with water to the corresponding line. (Washing rice is optional but recommended). It cooked until it was done and then switched to warm. You don’t have to tell it how long to go or anything, it was fantastic. The rice of the bottom did get a little browned. That doesn’t bother me but it may bother someone else, so just be aware. It’s extremely lightweight and compact. I worry it will break quickly but can’t say that until it happens. However, it was a great price and I’m happy with my purchase.

Reliable steamer for a small family
I love a no frills rice maker. Its reliable, and cooks the rice perfectly every single time. The color is exactly as it is in the photos. The size is just right for a family of four, we’re never short on rice. If I’m ever in the mood to steam vegetables, I always love how they turn out with this thing. No water leakage either!

Great Rice Cooker, Love it
Great rice cooker. I love that it has the markings on the inside to show how much water you need to put. Just read the directions and it’s super easy to use. This one is perfect for my family of my 5, we don’t eat a lot of rice so 6 cups cooked is perfect but it might be too small for families that enjoy a lot rice. I love that I can also make brown rice, quinoa and oatmeal. Very versatile. It’s also easy to store and wash. Overall great rice cooker, highly recommend.
