Q1: Why splatters when quickly releasing steam?
– Too-much-fluid recipes will cause splatters (ex. soups, stews), it’s recommend to stay the ‘Seal’ position, and release steam naturally.
For most recipes, releasing steam naturally for a few minutes after cooking has finished, and then releasing steam quickly, will be applied to most recipes without much fluid.
Q2: Why the Slow Cook setting isn’t hot after a long time preheat?
– It’s a normal situation. Longer cooking time, more nutrients will be lost, to better lock the food nutrients, a good slow cooker will keep a low temperature to avoid nutrients lost much after hours cooking, and still keep a tender and juicy taste.
Q3: When to open the lid?
– After the float value has dropped, you can open the lid.
Q4: What are the orange dots in lid and pot base?
– They are indicated marks to let you close and secure the lid more easily. Align the orange dot on the lid with the orange dot on the pressure cooker base, and then twist clockwise.

Excellent, versatile, although it arrived with a detail
I bought the COSORI 6-quart pressure cooker primarily for its versatility (9 functions in 1), and it’s truly been a great addition to my kitchen. It’s very easy to use, the preset menus are intuitive, and the ceramic coating makes cleaning really easy; food doesn’t stick at all.Something that pleasantly surprised me is that, in addition to the classic paper recipe book that comes included (very useful for getting started and experimenting with new dishes), it also has an app. The app includes additional recipes and gives you a variety of ideas, which is perfect for those looking for cooking inspiration and want to get the most out of their equipment.Cooking is fast and even; everything from rice to meats to steamed foods comes out perfectly. Plus, it saves a lot of space because it replaces several appliances in one.The only reason I’m taking away one star is because the cooker arrived with a small dent on one side. While this doesn’t affect its function or seal, I expected the product to be in perfect condition. I’ve read in other reviews that this can occasionally happen during shipping, so I recommend checking the package upon receipt. Otherwise, it works perfectly and delivers as promised.In short, I highly recommend it for its functionality, ease of use, and the added benefits of having a recipe book and app, but it would be great if they improved the shipping protection. If you’re looking for an efficient multi-cooker, this is a great one.

Great pressure cooker with AMAZING customer support
Has served me well overall, have had it for > 1 year.Customer support is FANTASTIC. I accidentally dropped the lid and cracked the plastic (does not affect functionality), completely my fault. I reached out to the company to buy a replacement lid and they offered to send me an entirely NEW UNIT for FREE as a courtesy. Did not expect it and it is greatly appreciated.Overall, one of the most used kitchen appliances in our house and very versatile. We use the pressure cooking and sautรฉ function the most. Generally you can use any pressure cooker recipe and it translates pretty well to this device without much change.Build quality is excellent. Feels very sturdy and well made. Has never given any issues when using.There are a few gripes, but they are generally minor:1) Sometimes the rubber seal on the lid doesn’t seal properly so it doesn’t pressurize, so a nice “push” onto the lid will get it sealed. Rarely happens, though. Make sure the rubber ring seal is put back in place properly after removing2) Sometimes smell can linger, even after washing thoroughly and using their recommended cleaning methods. Doesn’t affect the taste of food, however.3) The Sous Vide function does not seem to be as accurate in terms of temperature targets as my dedicated sous vide device, so I don’t use it much. It tends to heat lower than what the target temperature isOverall, would definitely recommend. As a pressure cooker, it is solid and has not failed us once.

The 6-liter Cosori pressure cooker has been one of the best purchases we made for the kitchen. My husband says it’s the best thing I’ve brought home because it makes it much easier for him to prepare food when I’m not there. It is easy to use, cooks quickly and the dishes are delicious. One day I even told him that it looked like I was making him a commercial of so many good things he said ๐. Ideal for busy families, and super useful if you want someone else to also be encouraged to cook.

The Best Pressure Cooker Iโve Ever Owned โ COSORI Has Outdone Themselves
Iโve only had the COSORI Pressure Cooker 6 qt, 9-in-1 Instant Multi Kitchen Appliance for two days, and I can already tell you this: it completely blows the Instant Pot out of the water. Iโm not exaggerating. Iโve used different multi-cookers in the past and always ended up just โokayโ with themโuntil now. COSORI nailed it with this one, and Iโm officially a brand loyalist. I already own a few of their other products, and with this pressure cooker, Iโve basically become a full-on COSORI fanboy.Letโs start with the nonstick ceramic inner pot. This thing is next-level. Unlike other cookers Iโve used that claim to be โnonstick,โ this one actually delivers. I made shredded chicken the first night, and absolutely nothing stuck to the bottom. Clean-up took less than a minuteโno soaking, no scrubbing, just a quick wipe and rinse. That might not sound like a big deal to some people, but for me, itโs a game changer. I cook a lot, and I hate dealing with stuck-on food or flaking coatings. This ceramic pot is super smooth and easy to clean, and it feels way more durable than others Iโve owned.The build quality is solid. It looks and feels premium. The controls are intuitive and responsive. The display is clear, and the button layout actually makes sense (youโd be surprised how many companies mess that up). Switching between modes is fast and smooth, and the preheat time is quicker than what Iโm used to. Every function Iโve tried so farโpressure cook, sautรฉ, slow cook, and riceโhas worked flawlessly. Iโve gotten consistent, delicious results with minimal effort.The sautรฉ function deserves its own shoutout. A lot of these multi-cookers have underpowered sautรฉ modes that feel like youโre trying to brown meat with a hair dryer. Not this one. It heats up quickly and actually gets hot enough to develop a nice sear, which is something Iโve struggled to get from other pressure cookers.Another little thing I love: itโs quiet. It doesnโt hiss or make a bunch of unnecessary noise during the cooking process. When pressure is released, itโs controlled and not as violently loud as Iโve experienced with other models.I also really appreciate that COSORI didnโt overcomplicate the design. It has 9 useful functions and doesnโt try to be something itโs not. Thereโs no gimmicky โyogurtโ button or some obscure mode Iโll never use. Everything on here makes sense and has a purpose.Honestly, I canโt think of a single negative thing to say about it. I know some people might be looking for a โbutโฆโ at this point, but there isnโt one. From unboxing to cooking to cleaning, this has been a perfect experience. I almost wish I had more complaints just to sound balanced, but nopeโthis thing is just that good.Final Thoughts:If youโre in the market for a pressure cooker, or even if you already own an Instant Pot or something similar, do yourself a favor and upgrade to the COSORI. The nonstick ceramic pot alone is worth it, but the performance and design push it into a league of its own. I never thought Iโd get excited about a kitchen appliance, but here I am, writing a glowing review like itโs a new car or something.This pressure cooker has officially earned a permanent spot on my kitchen counter. And now Iโm eyeing even more COSORI products to add to my collection. Safe to say, Iโm all in.Rating: 5 out of 5. Would give 6 if I could.

So wonderful we purchased two!
This is better than a conventional pressure cooker! The removable inner cooking bowl is easy to clean, and makes it easy to remove cooked food from the pressure cooker after it is cooked. If Cosori manufactured a stove-top model I certainly would buy one, or even buy two. The lid contains no electronics, making it easy to clean, and odor-free. I bought two, one for making my favorite delicious yogurt, and the second one for tasty everything else. De-pressurizing the cooker is quick, easy, and fairly safe, just step aside, and push the orange button. After filling with my favorite recipe, this can be programmed to turn itself on, cook, turn itself off, and even to keep food warm until we want to enjoy a comforting, warm meal.
