Easy-to-Use Meat Thermometer
This thermometer has been such a great addition to my kitchen! It gives quick and accurate readings, which makes cooking meat so much easier and takes away the guesswork. I’ve used it on chicken, steak, and even roasts, and every time the meat has come out perfectly cooked. The display is clear and easy to read, and it feels sturdy and well-made. It’s also super simple to clean after use. Whether grilling outside or cooking indoors, this thermometer is reliable and a must-have for anyone who wants their meat cooked just right. Great meat thermometer for US customers
This is a great thermometer for US customers. I had another thermometer. It had Fahrenheit and Celsius. It was Celsius by default and would have to switch Fahrenheit, which can be a pain.This thermometer is only measures in Fahrenheit. So great for US customers, but not those outside the US. It is very easy to use. The price was better than the thermometer that does both. It turns on as soon as you pull out the metal part to measure the heat. It is easy to clean off and shuts off as soon as it is closed. I haven’t tried the magnet strength or the waterproof aspects of the meat. I would highly recommend this meat thermometer. I would buy it again, if I ever need another one.

Does an Excellent Job – Fast Read
Have used now for several weeks and so far, the device has proven to be an excellent addition to our cooking world. The device appears to be well made and very easy to use. The temperature readings are instantaneous and so far, appear to be very accurate. Also, you cannot beat the price, which was excellent at 30% off.

Great grilling thermometer!
Large and easy to use. And the magnet keeps it attached to my grill so I don’t have to run inside to grab a thermometer. The length is long enough that you don’t have to burn your hand to check the temps. I can’t comment on the battery life since I’ve only had it a short while. The temp seems accurate. I think this is a very good value!

So far so good.
I have only had this thermometer a short time, but have used it on a few occasions. It worked well and quickly. I do like the magnet feature to keep it on my refrigerator for easy access instead of taking up space in a drawer.

Impressive device – bought second
I have one of the high end meat thermometer which I just finished reparing, purchased this a back up. Looks similar, wakes on motion if probe out, digits on screen flip as you turn screen enable reading. Push a button to go from F to C, or to change resolution to tenths of a degree, or to check calibration or recalibrate to ice bath ( mine read 32.2). Battery compartment slides off with ease has neoprene gasket. Screen is bright white/blue tint in dark. Does it read in 0.5 seconds? Don’t be silly you can see the tiny sensitive needle end is attached to that huge hunk of stainless steel. I get useable readings in 1 second, stable in 3. My high end advertised as 3-4 seconds takes twice that time. Would I repurchase my old one at 10 x the price of this if either of them die ? We’ll as an EE I know what is in these. Parts would cost me 4 x what i paid for this one. Having just serviced the high end one I can confirm internals use same Asian sourced chips/parts. So breakage dysfunction will be up to how well I maintain them and how well the printed circuit boards were made. So, no repurchase. At this price point heading back to Amazon for a spare of this new device. FWIW this review app keeps asking for magnet strength and ease of use: magnets hold device upside down under my steel table, 3 year old grandchild just opened it and measured air temp on the way toward his face. Yanked it away before eye damage and hung it out of reach on side of freezer.#2 this one is high viz orange, easy to see. Now lives stuck on metal shelf post in garage. Cannot express how tired my 75 YO knees are going up and down stairs to retrieve items for smoker outside garage and gas grill outside 2cnd floor kitchen. $10 for this vs $10000 for an elevator seemed like a good choice. Only things to add are the hold button works as advertised, batteries not marked as alkaline or zinc best take them out between use. Very easy – push down on hatch, slide back, change battery. Neoprene seal looks like it provides splash protection at minimum. Despite ad have no plans (or need ) to run these under water, a wipe works for me.

Very nice, feels good, works great
It comes on when you pull the thermometer out and actually stays on long enough to read the temp. Don’t put it in water, use common sense there’s a door to put battery in which by the way is a aaa and not those stupid disc batteries and you know water will get in there. Easy to read, plenty fast for me and I would recommend. Way better than my last one that cost twice as much!

Instant read meat thermometer.
Thermometer arrived today. upon receiving it I tested the thermometer in a glass of ice water. perfect read out of 32.0 degrees F. Easy to use. The read-out screen is large and easy to read. Nice size. I like how the long probe fold into the body and the tip is protected. Looks to be well made and a good quality thermometer. I like the recommended internal temps that are listed on the back. The magnets on the back are great for keeping it on the refrigerator. All in all, I’m very pleased with it. I could right more but the thermometer speaks for itself. Highly recommended meat thermometer.

Fit for Purpose
Was initially skeptical because of the price, but this item is accurate and fast, sturdy, works exactly as described. It is a handy addition for anyone who wants to safely cook to proper temperature. I have another instant read thermometer that cost almost 10x as much, and this one is every bit as good. Great value.

So far so good!
My boyfriend and I are both cooks by trade, so going through thermometers is something that can happen more frequently then we like. Unfortunately the best thermometers are also very expensive.I’m happy to report that these are some of the best thermometers we have bought to date so far!They are well built and have a nice feel to them. They don’t feel cheap and light like most do. They have been very accurate so far, with a quick reading. The NIST calibration certificate is nice to see.We keep them in our pockets, so we don’t hang them up often, but the magents have held them up fine so far. Same with the battery life, we haven’t had to recharge or replace the batteries yet, even after using them all day since we bought them a couple weeks back. The overall design has been good!We are happy with them so far! I will update after some more thorough use
